SURVIVING TOUGH TIMES

My name is Robert Jamison, I am a Memphis TN native born and raised in Shelby County TN. I grew up in heart of Midtown in a low income housing community Lamar Terrace, a new site which is now called the University Place. A great influence in my life growing up is my Beloved mother Mary V. Lewis who passed away on September 6, 2012. My mother death was painful for our entire family. After a long and emotionally wrenching struggle with stage 4 lung cancer and the setting of many of her health conditions played a significant part of my success in healthcare. September 06, 2012 God called my Mother home to rest, and on December 12, 2012 I up and relocated to Los Angeles, CA. February 2013 is when I started my acting career with the help of my best friend actor "Stephane Solar from the Movie Midnight Warrior and Speak of the Devil. Stephane, transformed me from a healthcare professional to one of Hollywood's newest background actor and I never looked back. I am the creator and Executive Producer of my new featured Film titled "SURVIVING TOUGH TIMES" which is now in pre-production Directed by Rasheed Lateef at Global Content Media Film Productions. IPO owner of "Punch TV Studios" KILM channel 64 in Southern California 

My film credits includes Co-Producer for the Horror-Thriller film titles Did You See That? Director of Crooked Games a film written by Joseph Elliott, Star roles in 3 Deonte' Bolden Movies titled "When Pride Comes Before The Fall" "The Price of Fame" and "Wicked" The Web Series and a short film titled "Skid Row Pimpin" Directed by PF at Nunn Media Production. I've also been apart of 3 amazing Stage Plays and performed professionally in The Year of the Diamond, "The Truth" Musical Hit Stage Play by Tymeka Coney and "Cougar Blues" Musical Stage Play Directed by Jerri Locke at 12 Shades of Blue Production. January 2018 I will resume my stage character Dr. Rjai as lead Actor and Executive Producer of the Musical Hit Stage Play titled "I Survived The Storm" Directed by Mr. Anthony Kinniebrew former Stage Manager for Tyler Perry Stage Play Production "Why Did I Get Married " I am featured in 2 Music video's titled "It's all about me" The farmed and Dangerous Sound track and "Skid Row Pimpin" by: Nunn Productions. I've also appeared on set in some of the latest Hollywood's Featured Films/Movies and TV shows, such as the Johnny Depp new movie, Jodi Arias Dirty Little Secret, Sharknado, A Dollywood Christmas, Farmed and Dangerous, The new James Brown "Get on UP" Never Loose Focus, The Gambler, The Whitney Houston Story, Straight Outta Compton, Normal Heart, Ted 2, Bourne 5, The TV series called Married and so many more Hollywood's featured films. I've also had the opportunity to work on the movie set with some of Hollywood's Award winning Celebrities. Such as Angela Basset, Will Smith, Nate Faxon, Mark Wahlberg, Ray Wise, Nick Ross, Robin Lee, Steve Carroll, Jennifer Gardner, Julia Roberts, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, and Matt Damon, Just to name a few. 

 For those of you who know me.. you know that my passion is to always give back and to build platforms for others to shine. My work has always and will always provide opportunity for the underprivileged, unsung talent in my community and beyond, making dreams come true. Now I want to use my past acting experience to inspire new upcoming actors and provide them with resources on how to jump start their acting careers by working closely with me and some of the people I have close ties too. Such as casting directors,, movie directors, executive producers, film makers and set production crew members . 

I wrote the movie Surviving Tough Times because life has knocked me down a few times. It has shown me things I never wanted to see, I have experienced sadness and failures. But I also wanted to shed light on the great city Memphis TN simply because I am proud of where I "come from" and send a positive message to raise awareness for a variety of causes namely. Healthcare, Domestic Violence and Homelessness causes. In short the film is about me and my struggles. It shed light on how I learned to survive and craft a new way to live under The most unusual set of circumstances. It's about the youth of today's gang drugs, violence, and what could happen to teens if they take the wrong path and where it could lead them. "An Award Winning Film" you don't want to miss.
