Actor Robert L Jamison

LIFE IN ENTERTAINMENT

My name is Robert Jamison, I am the Creator of a Featured Film title Surviving Tough Times, Co-Producer of a Syfi-Horror film titled Did You See That? an upcoming Film/TV Stage Play actor and Author of the Book "Surviving Tough Times" Living a Sheltered Life spending over two decades in healthcare. In 2009 a group of people plotted against me trying to ruined my medical career and right today they still don't know how I survived. But, by the Grace of God I am still standing.

In 2012 after the passing of my beloved mother I up and relocated to Los Angeles, CA. This is where I turned my life around via the film world with the help of my agent Rodney Jefferson and best friend actor "Stephane Solar" Rodney at CMB productions transformed me from a healthcare professional to one of Hollywood's newest background actor and I never looked back. In 2014 I was cast to become a Medical Doctor and Co-Star in The New Musical Hit Stage Play "The Truth" The play is about Love & Forgiveness in Relationships. It brought Awareness to Domestic Violence, Homelessness, Health Awareness-STD, HIV and Breast Cancer, Business and Unemployment, and other Social issues in our Communities. As one of the Lead Stars, for me. This was the role of a "Life Time" In the character role, I played "Dr. Rjai" The Head Doctor over the clinic. I was also featured in 2 Music video's It's all about me The farmed and Dangerous Sound track and Skid Row Pimpin by: Nunn Productions.

I've also appeared on set in some of the latest Hollywood's Featured Films/Movies and TV shows, such as Jodi Arias Dirty Little Secret, Sharknado, A Dollywood Christmas staring Brain Mcknight and Dolly Parton, Farmed and Dangerous Staring Ray Wise and Robin Lee, The new James Brown "Get on UP" Never Loose Focus Staring Will Smith, The Gambler, staring Mark Wahlberg, The Whitney Houston Story Directed by Angela Bassett, Straight Outta Compton Produced by: Ice Cube, and Dr. Dre, Normal Heart, Staring Julia Roberts,Ted 2, Bourne 5 Staring Matt Damon and Tommy Lee Jones, The TV series called Married Staring Nick Faxon, and so many more Hollywood's featured films. In the new upcoming featured film "Alone" my name is (Dr. Rad) a Phscy doctor for veterans suffering from mental illness and the unseen wound of PTSD. I am cast as the Co-Star in this new Film to raise Awareness and support the National Center for PTST. This movie is now in productions Written and Directed by Actor Casey Lee, known for the following movies. In Living Color, A Low Down Dirty Shame (1994) he played a young police officer, the Wayans Brothers comedy White Chicks (2004) as Tony, along with actor Terry Crews (of the UPN series Everybody Hates Chris), and in Dance Flick filmed in (2009). Through Casey experience in the movie industry his leadership as the writer producer and director. It has provided me with encouragement and the opportunity to raise awareness for Behavior conditions such as mental illness and provide hope and healing for a significant condition "PTSD".

I am also privileged enough to have an opportunity to work on set with another great Actor. Stephane Solar from the movie Midnight Warriors and Speak of the Devil. In 2013 Stephane, cast me to play the role of a homeless doctor and tell a story about my life struggles through his film "Sheltered Life'' This film will inspire the homeless and shed light on how God brought me through a storm when the odds were indeed against me. You see, if you never experience something or go through a storm. You will not have a story to tell. In Short, the book I wrote "Surviving Tough Time" Living a Sheltered Life, and the film is about me and my struggles and how I learned to survive and craft a new way to live in the most unusual set of circumstances. The book will be available soon on Amazon. The film also reflects on the youth of today, gangs, drugs, violence and homelessness. It's about what can happen to teenagers if they take the wrong path and where it could lead them. I survived a difficult process and I wanted to share the truth about my life struggles through the film Sheltered Life and write about it in my book "Surviving Tough Times" because the American people need to know what's going on behind prison bars. You have to see what it's like to be a victim of the systems so speak. You have to be on the other side of the bars. The conditions and the conduct of the officers were so bad that some inmates felt horrified, some of them were so desperate that they were trying to commit suicide. When a person gets caught up in the center of life’s troubles, it can be, and indeed, it is a very dark season in his life. For anyone who is caught up in the between life and death, smiles and sorrow, rejection and betrayal, dreams and defeat, wedding and divorce, trouble and triumphs. This film is for you. Arise, for it is your time to overcome!
